In a follow up to my last post about User Spam Submissions, the timing for this new feature in Security & Compliance Center is quite serendipitous!
Say hello to Submissions Explorer in Security & Compliance Center –
This is a fantastic new way for an admin to submit false positives and false negatives to Microsoft! It’s also a central spot to submit any malware, URLs and phish. This tool also works together with user submissions via the Report Message add-in. As you can see in the screenshot below, you will be asked for details about the Email, URL, or the attachment. An important caveat is that the message cannot be more than 7 days old in order to submit. I’m sure this feature will evolve over time, but for now, it looks like a pretty capable tool.
I’ll post back soon with some updates about how this exciting new tool works, but for now, check out your tenant (Security & Compliance Center–>Threat Management–>Submissions) to see if it’s been flighted to you! If not, it will be coming soon.
Happy submitting!<div class='sharedaddy sd-block sd-like jetpack-likes-widget-wrapper jetpack-likes-widget-unloaded' id='like-post-wrapper-127276047-122-5f8e079465c3b' data-src='https://widgets.wp.com/likes/#blog_id=127276047&post_id=122&origin=pragmaticadmin.com&obj_id=127276047-122-5f8e079465c3b' data-name='like-post-frame-127276047-122-5f8e079465c3b'><h3 class="sd-title">Like this:</h3><div class='likes-widget-placeholder post-likes-widget-placeholder' style='height: 55px;'><span class='button'><span>Like</span></span> <span class="loading">Loading...</span></div><span class='sd-text-color'></span><a class='sd-link-color'></a></div>
